BRIGHTON’S FESTIVAL FOR INDEPENDENT DANCE

We are entering a time where the outside world is frequently translated through artists in increasingly diverse ways. With the digital revolution coming of age, we are experiencing technology that effectively blurs the boundaries between politics and relationships, privacy and productivity, bringing new perspectives daily on our modern world. We see contemporary dance as a reactive art form to its surroundings and believe it is vital that this practice is liberated and its role within the modern world celebrated. Swallowsfeet Festival is a platform committed to this celebration; through experience, participation and conversation.

“Through its inclusivity, Swallowsfeet is more than a festival of international dance; it’s an event of human proportions in which dance, music and silence express contrasting aspects of the human condition.”

Another successful year for the Swallowsfeet Dance Festival. Topical, meaningful messages and exceptional producers were combined to create a night that has left a deep impression.
